Since 2011, Vision Rehabilitation Associates has been a provider of quality vision care products and personalized optometric services to our patients along Chicago’s northshore, and the greater Chicagoland area. Our office specializes in vision therapy, neuro-optometry, pediatrics, and preventative eyecare. We go beyond 20/20 to evaluate and treat complex visual problems that affect our patient’s quality of life.

Problems with how efficiently the visual system works can affect school performance, work efficiency, driving ability, and athletic performance. As behavioral and developmental optometrists, our doctors have advanced training to evaluate and treat eye tracking, teaming, focusing, and vision processing problems. Both Dr. Zost and Dr. Sorenson have served as pediatrics and binocular vision faculty at the Illinois College of Optometry, and have significant experience managing vision problems associated with complex neurological conditions. Dr. Zost has served as a vision consultant to Shirley Ryan Ability Lab for 15 years, where he evaluates patients who experience disrupted vision following traumatic brain injury. Dr. Sorenson has worked with a neuro-otologist and has extensive experience managing visual problems associated with vestibular disorders and migraine. They are both fellows of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and the American Academy of Optometry.
